There are other great universities out there, but the student needs to make one important decision. Do you want to be an economist or just work in something related? If you want to be an economist, you need the best education and one of the best schools in the world to be competitive. If you want something related, focus on what you really want. For example, if you want to work in business, get an MBA with that undergraduate degree in economics.
